About NeuroIntact
Built for the Clinician. Designed for the Patient.
We started with a simple observation: pupil assessment — one of neurology's most fundamental tools — was still being done the same way it was a century ago. We set out to change that.
Our Mission
NeuroIntact is developing quantitative pupillometry technology to bring objective, repeatable ocular measurement to the bedside. Our goal is to give clinicians the data they need to make confident, informed decisions — regardless of patient condition or environment.
We believe that measurement should be independent of examiner variability, lighting conditions, and patient cooperation. That belief drives every design decision we make.
The Problem We're Solving
Traditional pupil assessment relies on subjective, examiner-dependent observation. Terms like "brisk," "sluggish," or "reactive" lack standardized definitions and can vary between clinicians — introducing variability into one of neurology's most critical data points.
For patients in the neuro ICU, the OR, or the emergency department, that variability matters. NeuroIntact is building technology to replace subjective observation with quantitative, documented, repeatable measurement.
What Guides Us
Clinical Rigor
Every claim we make is grounded in data. We hold ourselves to the same standard of evidence we ask clinicians to apply.
Patient-Centered Design
Technology that works only on cooperative patients in ideal conditions isn't good enough. We design for the full range of clinical reality.
Transparent Science
We distinguish clearly between what is validated, what is investigational, and what is aspirational. Clinicians deserve that clarity.
Research Partnership
We collaborate with academic medical centers and clinical researchers to validate our platform and advance the science of ocular measurement.
Research & Clinical Collaboration
We are actively partnering with academic medical centers, neuro ICU programs, and clinical researchers. If you are interested in collaboration opportunities, investigational access, or learning more about the NVI platform, we welcome the conversation.
